She sprawls out, completely at ease, as if claiming her rightful spot in the centre of my world. It’s both amusing and heartwarming to see her so content, just being close to me.

Beside the keyboard, beside my heart

When I’m at my computer, typing away, Toothless is right there beside my keyboard. She curls up, sometimes stretching out a paw to gently touch the keys (or maybe to send her own secret messages!). It’s as if she wants to be part of whatever I’m creating, offering her silent support or maybe just enjoying the warmth of the computer.

Video calls are never just between me and the person on the other end. Toothless makes sure she’s part of it, too, sitting right in front of the screen. Her curious eyes seem to follow the conversation, and I can’t help but wonder if she’s trying to decipher what’s being said or just enjoying being the centre of attention.
