Not so boring little black dresses

I’m surprise to read this report from The Guardian, stating that women aren’t buying little black dresses online like the way they do in stores. Contrary to popular believe, shoppers are actually putting printed frocks and colorful cocktail numbers into their virtual shopping carts instead, because those are the things that leap out at them from the computer screen. So yes, if you thought black was the safe bet, you’re sadly mistaken. Black in contrast, seemed “flat”.

That said, the saying goes, “once you go black you’ll never go back” – though they meant it in sexual connotations, I’m looking at it in a much more literal manner.
